Efter avslutad kurs skall den studerande:
– delar av de färdigheter som beskrivs i STCW 2010, chapter III, section A-III/1, table A-III/1.
Function: Marine engineering at the operational level:
Competence: ”Operate electrical, electronic and control systems” and ”Maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment”
– delar av de färdigheter som beskrivs i STCW 2010, chapter III, section A-III/2, table A-III/2.
Function: Electrical, electronic and control engineering at the management level:
Competence: ”Manage operation of electrical and electronic control equipment” and ”Manage trouble-shooting, restoration of electrical and electronic control equipment to operating condition”
– kunna förstå och analysera elmaskiner på fartyg, samt
– ha grundläggande kunskaper om elanläggningar och elgenerering på fartyg, samt
– få en överblick över motsvarande elutrustningar på land.

Innehåll

Transformatorer, likströmsmaskiner, asynkronmaskiner, synkronmaskiner, småmotorer, specialmotorer, allmänt elsystem, ledningssystem, elsäkerhet, eldokumentation, elapparater, ställverk och elutrustningar för explosionsfarliga utrymmen.
